Year 2008 will be gone in approx an hour &51minutes, &then it'll be gone forever.


Ahh, dont you feel that as we get older, time just seems to slip away at a quicker pace? When we're younger, much younger, all the time in the world just revolve around candies, cartoons, playtime. Now, it's all about studies (alright, maybe right now at this moment in time. It isn't so for most of us), about anger &stress management, about friends &family, about activities &gatherings, etc.


This year has been one which really forced me to stand up, &learn how to grow up independently. For as long as i could rmbr, i guess this is definitely one year which would be engraved in my heart &i'll rmbr it for life. Not that i have a choice either, it just scarred me, emotionally.
But then again, there are still happy memories about this year 2008 which i would want to embrace them forever. (: The strong friendships forged, the many happy moments shared with friends &classmates, &the many little exciting events which happened in the midst of this year.


For those people close to me, y'all would have known what was that incident which forced me to grow up. To face up to my responsibilities &start viewing the world at a different perspective. It was indeed a hard time for me, because that certain incident seems to have pushed me off the ledge of a mountain, with nth to hold on to. Once i reached the bottom, i've come to realise that i cannot remain down there forever, since i've my family members to support &all. (:
&then i started to make my way back to the top again, to where i belonged. Maybe i'm still struggling somewhere, in the middle of my path. Or maybe, things can no longer to where they used to be.
But at least i've survived through the lowest &darkness period. Thanks alot, to my family. &not forgetting friends, dear ones who stood by me even though we're going through the shitty prelims. (:


I'm just thankful for things now. Very thankful. Honestly, things could have been alot worse, this we all know. Somehow, there's just someone guiding us along, showing us the way, healing each &every one of us, taking care of us. &slowly, guiding us to the light at the end of the tunnel. I thank you, to whoever you are. Please continue to led us the way, &help us survive this difficult period.
I love you, daddy. (: We'll always, always be here for you.


Year 2008 was a really trying period. Not only coping with the changes around me, but in me as well.
Friends &family, studies too. Yeah, that horrendous A level which totally stinks. Having to manage my time well &equaly, so i can cope well with the many matters i have at hand, which i had failed to do so, &many things ended up in a mess. :\
I've tried, during the course of the year, to be a better person; a better sister, a better daughter, a better granddaughter, a better friend, a better student. Well, just a better individual, which i don't feel that i've succeeded as well.
Many more things to be said, but space &words have their limits.
I'll just put whatever that had happened behind me, embrace only those worth embracing, &throw away those fit for the rubbish chutes. (:


Easier said than done, yes. But at least i bother trying.
So to the things/people who hurt me, farewell. (: Thanks for making me grow up. So long.
To people whom i've hurt, i'm sorry. 3 words, but that's from the bottom of my heart.
This coming new year, i guess i'll just spend more effort in managing my time. &then perhaps, strike the perfect balance among these few impt things in my life: Family, Friends, Studies, Work, FMSSRCY, RCY(HQ), etc. (: Hopefully, i'll succeed this time round.


New year will be different this year, esp Lunar Chinese New Year. No more of the annual sort of thing, stopping the car by some expressway, countdowning to CNY &watching those fireworks shoot up into the sky. Grabbing my phone to msg ____, &trying to see who will be the first to wish each other. Then boast to ____ about having to see fireworks, in return, listen to you rant about how useless fireworks are, blahblah. Yeah, i'll miss those definitely. ): But i'll miss the fireworks more, although they usually survive for less than 15 seconds. :\


One thing worth celebrating is that i've met some awesome friends for keeps. (:
The class 07S07 &clique, esp AHBF, bp hy rp. Thank you so much. You've made the impossible college life, possible. (: Thanks so much for the memories forged. You'll never know how impt your friendships are to me.
To the guys who have already enlisted or will be enlisting soon: i really hope that we will still remain in contact. (: I just want y'all to know how special each &every friendships of yours are, &how grateful i am able to meet you in this college life. (:
To the girls who are working or still enjoying life: please stay in touch! (: I can never, ever imagine college life without y'all. Who will accompany me through those whacky break times, &curse silently under our breaths at teachers, order 6 exactly same packets of food during break time? No one else, except y'all. :D College would never be this exciting, this memorable without y'all.
Another thing worth celebrating is how i've managed to have a friend who is ever there for me. (: Although we might be drifting apart, i'm still happy that we both placed much emphasis on this friendship of ours.
Dearest szemian, i love you. Come what may, i hope our love for each other will really remain strong. (: Leaving overseas for studies next year, but please rmbr to stay in contact via emails, alright? (:
To my many other friends, like redcross, fmssrcy, sec school, pj, etc. (: I really hope that i'll stumbled across a chance to be back with y'all, joking &laughing like those good ol' times. Trust me, we might be drifted now, but your existence has never been forgotten. (:


So there, i shall end my post now.
I hope for everyone not only a bed of roses for the upcoming year 2009, but also the strength &determination to overcome all obstacles &difficulties. (: &the ability to not lose yourself too, in the midst of the events happening in 2009.

Some cookies &muffins i baked ytd.
I preferred the cookies, they taste really yummy. Honestly! The muffins weren't that bad, but nah i'm not a fan of muffins. :\ Which i dont even know why i baked them for. Bahh.
The wait for the first batch of cookies lasted for afew years. I even grew a beard, i think. :\

I spent this very happy day with my dearest AHB. (:
Ahh i'm really so sorry, bryan! Was supposed to meet him first at 5, but i reached only 45 mins later. :\ Sorry leh!
&wow, jp's like h u g e, megahuge (compared to the old building). It's a pity we dived almost immediately to the many eating places available, instead of exploring this new shopping mall. (: Another time, yeah? &hl! Hopefully by the next time, we'll have the ability to shop &grab all the stuff we really want! ;D
Dined at Billy Bombers. Aaron &bryan had their eyes laid on the pretty waitress. TSK.
I love this pretty mocktail. (:
Walked around. Hl got her stuff from SASA, before we went down to B1 trying to print my stupid passport photo, which we happily failed. Heh! (: Aye, 10 bucks for only 8 miserable piece, yknow! Daylight robbery. Hahah.
Went Ji De Chi for some dessert. :\ Ugh, hl promised me nicer dessert tmr. (: Let's head down to Tiong for the Mango Shaved Ice one day too, okay? ;D

On monday, I woke up before 0700 (which to me now, is an unearthly timing), &headed down to clementi polyclinic with my grandmother. The wait was horrible, giving the fact that we reached there way before 8. Ugh. ):
Headed back home, chatted with hy on the phone before her training in afternoon. Haha, Jiayou hy! :D
Met my cousins at Bugis with yz, Seoul Garden for lunch. Stuffed ourselves like crap, wk seems to be the only surviving one. Shopped around with yf, i think the 3 guys were really bored. Hahah. (: But they were nice, considering the fact that they didn't complain much. Hehe.
Couldn't make it for the dinner with chanel &all. So sorry!


X'mas celebration with classmates were awesome last night.
&i'm just really glad that people managed to take time off &join us! :D :D

Dinner at Pizza Hut was retarded. I think we irritated the staff there by hanging around so long despite the very long queue outside PH, &by making so much noise. Heh.
My dearest friends decided to be helpful &started placing lemon slices onto my cup of lemon tea. (: Haha, i think my glass of drink was damn retarded, please!
Ky was damn funny. I really wished i had videotaped his facial expression &all when he saw me eating slices of lemon, &tried eating one. Hiliarious! :D
Bryan treated the chicken wings &drumlets! ;D &that Curry Zazzle br totally killed my throat. D:
Headed to Esplanade rooftop for gift exchange. Haha, this is one gift exchange i really want to rmbr it for life. (: So fun! I got Bryan's gift, Hy got my gift. My two darlings, hl &bp, practically exchanged gifts. Haha, i think hy's a very lucky girl! ;D Hehe.
Mass phototaking, then hy &des left early. Rp claimed it's her first time taking so many photos. :D Haha. I think most of the girls look unglam, with the pespiration &all. :\
Went down to Clarke Quay for icecream at Nectarie. (: Haha, i really prefer the Wild Strawberry Sherbet which i suggested, over the other two. ;D
&i'm lucky to catch the last bus back home from Dover station. (:

I'm very curious about this thing. Are guys free in army? I thought ns life would be hellish, in a way they'll be forced to be disciplined. Continuous exercise &training, til they're so tired that they can't wait to sleep the moment they finish their baths.
Aye? Then how come both benj &jm could actually chat with me via sms even though they're in camp? Hahah, not that i'm complaining. Just curious. (:
Both guys gave me different comments about ns. One said he's gonna die in there. The other said it was alright, &that ns was feeding him like a pig. Lolol. :D


Anyways, i'm back from chalet. (:
Not exactly a blast, but it's still enjoyable. (:
I spent most of the time in the activity room watching my tw drama series. :D :D :D Which was so contagious that my cousins, brother &aunt followed me. Heh.
Both grill &steamboat for dinner almost every night (except for bbq night). Wah, it's nice yes. But thank you very much, i think i'll do without it for a period of time. :\
Went Pasir Ris park on the second day. Kind of boring actually since i went there before. Hah, took those stupid slides, which yf &i burnt some elbow skins there. Lol.
Book the bicycle for 2 hours on the third day, cycling with brother &cousins. (: The sea breeze's really nice. Salty &sticky, yet refreshing. (: My poor girl lost control of the bike &fell on. :\ Take care, yf! I love cycling. (: Only on my bike, cos somehow my butt &my bike's seat are complementary to each other. My butt won't hurt, no matter how long i ride the bike. My butt hurts alot after the ride, ALOT. ):
Friends came over on 18th night. (: Haha, i hope everyone had fun. (: Now my family knows about how loud hy is, how ____ (my aunt claims) bp is, how hl always hit bryan (my aunt said), how sister-ly bryan is, &how aaron loves beehoon. (: Haha, it's hiliarious on the way back home. My aunt &everyone else started commenting on my friends, which was somewhat amusing. (: Heh.
Went PR park with the youngsters that night til close to 2. Kind of fun, with sparklers. Though i din play alot. :\ Aye! Can we have more sparklers maybe, on 23rd? Hehe. :D :D Bathed &slept. 5of us in activity room, with bp in the living room. Abit cold arh! D:

Everytime i received a msg from anyone of them telling me that they can turn up for the bbq/sleepover, i smiled so widely i think the corner of my lips are tearing. :D Hehe.

I hope school hasn't end. I miss school. I wish lessons are still going on. I miss lessons, with f6 in front &the guys at the back.

Back from china trip. (:
Wasn't too bad, i guess. I had my own share of fun.
Seeing smoke coming out of your mouth everytime you talk, seeing snow for the first time, climbing Great Wall, etc etc.
Although i reckon overseas trips are still the best with your friends. Idk, similar liking &interest. It makes the trip so much more enjoyable &shopping so much easier.
Haha, but then again. Out of the so many visits to China, this one is the best (in terms of living conditions). Stayed in 5 stars hotel in both Tianjin &Beijing, &then a 3 stars hotel in Xiamen. Compare this to those motels &hotels i stayed in during my school trip.
See the vast difference. (: Heh.

Hola, i just vomited.
I wasn' feeling too well after lunch so i took a nap. Then i woke up suddenly, &threw up at the side of my bed.
Few tears welled up in my eyes, which always do everytime i threw up.
I msged huili (who's in vietnam now) that i just vomited. Walked over to my parents' room &told my dad. Heh, he jumped up from the bed in a shock &began to clean up my mess.
Oh, i mopped the floor. (:
The whole thing took place within the span of less than 5 minutes.
Being nice, i wouldn't describe to you it's contents. Ugh, it's ultra disgusting.


I deleted the last post, cos it's attracting unwanted attention which resulted in msg coming into my phone. :\
This is the last post til next fri/sat, when my feet finally touch singapore's safety ol' ground again. (:

Prom Night
Hollywood- A Red Carpet Affair; that's the theme of JJC's prom night 2008. (:


I sat with the table of classmates, whom i spent the last 2-3 days with. (:
We were darn tired. We reach home only at around eleven plus in the morning. &then we leave for prom at around 5plus in the evening. (:
I love my straight hair for the night. (: I'd have considered rebonding, if it was so complicated &expensive. Tsk!
Both aaron &bryan came over to Dover for hair styling before leaving for Shang. I'm glad they went for the hair styling. (: They really look good.
We left for Shang tgt on a very nice cab. Hl couldnt meet up with us. ):


Idk what to say about the night. The programmes wouldn't be at all fun &entertaining if without the group of friends i sat with last night. (:
S07 girls looked really pretty last night. (: the S07 guys looked really stunning too. (:
Hah, We're all growing up! It's fun to see us all dolled up &dressed up for a certain event.


But i think no one really paid attention to the emcees &programmes. Everyone were more interested in snapping photos i guess. Haha. (: To capture memories.

When the dinner ended, the whole s07 went to check out the room bryan's dad booked. Tell me how cool is that? He booked a room at Shang, after prom. Like, whoa. Haha.
Afew left after that, while 6 of us left for Clarke Quay (Aaron Bryan Ky Hl Bp &I). Almost half of the world's population is there! Alright, no. Just kidding. But it seems pretty much infested with jc students who had their prom last night.
We got into the deafening Lunar Bar. My company was nice, totally. But i think the blasting music really got me deaf. ): With every hard beat, my heart goes thump. So basically, the whole night were beating, my heart goes thumping. Tsk!

Left the bar at around 2.30 in the morning. I got a lift home from hl's bro. Thank you! (:
I was a little tempted to stayed back with the rst in the hotel room, but i decided against it in the end. Haha, plus if i were to go back to Shang, 5 of us couldn't squeezed into a cab! Lol.


Looking back, i really grew up alot in JJ. It's where my thoughts &views of the world changed. How my thinking matured. &how i'm able to look at things from a different viewpoint.
&also, how i met some really awesome friends-for-keeps. (: Haha, i love y'all!



Dear hl, believe me. You look pretty last night. (: Really, i love how your hair is being done up, &how long eyelashes brings the doll out of you. I love you too for who you are.

Dear bp, i really admire you for your confidence, which gave another 100marks for your appearance. I'm happy that you received so many positive comments from all over the place. (:
(PS: Walao! You always not around. I just realised i dont have a single shot of us in my camera. D:)

Dear aaron, you look really capturing too. (: The styled blue coloured hair really suits you &i really like how your hair is being done. You look like an office boy in Dover with a blazer, & a playboy at Shang with it on. (:

Dear bryan, artz wannabe. (: I think you look really smart in your blazer, &even better if your purple coloured hair isn't that heavy. Hah, but still, you look good. Hope you achieved your goal.

Dear fish consultant, aye! I think you sucks cos you will never read this post. (: I think you look good in pink, like you did in grad night in Fairfield, only then you had a cast on. Haha, we're pretty much drifted apart. ): Rmbr our date in 2012! :D
